Friday Night Fights | May 1st - Turbo Returns!

Apr 30, 2026

Friday Night Fights is back— and so is Turbo Ascension!

But wait, what about Spires? We’d hoped to bring you Spires this week - which is a never-before-seen mode focused on combat, combat, and more combat. We know many of you are excited to test out Spires - and we’re excited to share it! Unfortunately, we need a little more time to squeeze out the last of the kinks and get it ready for prime time.

In the meantime, we’re back to Turbo. Start on Floor 2, gather your winning set before the beacons spawn - or use the spare time to seek out the Destroyer Crown.

Heads up: we’re adding a little more Arkheron to your week. Community Nights start next Thursday! Read on for more details.

Reminder - we’re moving! If you haven’t already, make sure to download Arkheron’s Playtest Client! Read more about the shift to Arkheron Playtest here.

  • Dev Stream & Custom Games

Featured Mode: Turbo Ascension

Turbo Ascension is the Friday Night Fights queue this week. Skip the first floor, gear up, and get your win!

What’s New?

We’re back to a Floor 2 start! As a reminder, we’ve added an extra minute of looting time to Floor 2 only, before the beacons spawn. This aims to allow players to have a little more time to workshop their builds and hunt down that final piece of loot before the fights begin. We’ve also brought back the Destroyer Crown global objective (see more below).

Details:

  • Starting Floor: 2nd Floor start

  • Teams: 7 teams of 3

  • Beacon Timing: Extra time ahead of beacons on the drop floor.

Destroyer Crown

Heavy is the head...

As you drop in on the second floor, you’ll see a segment of the map highlighted pink. This is where the Destroyer Crown will spawn mid way through the level, in a mythic chest. Careful - the location is revealed once the Crown spawns, and you may not be the only team looking to pick it up.

DESTROYER CROWN

  • [Active - Doppelganger] Summon a doppelganger and become Invisible. Taking an action causes the doppelganger to disappear.

  • [Passive] This item is a Destroyer Relic. While carrying, players automatically unlock the respective set Bonus for Each Eternal Relic that they carry - culminating in a possible 3 set bonuses'

We’d love to see what kinds of creative builds and plays you come up with while donning the Destroyer Crown. And if you have any other thoughts about it, we want to hear those too!

Developer Livestream w/ the Audio Team

Kick off FNF with us! At 6PM PT before the fights begin, we’ll go live in Discord with a Q&A from our Audio Lead Braden “Nyquist” and Audio Engineer Travis “.traverse” to talk VOs, music, and more! We’re pre-collecting questions over in Discord here, and will be taking more live during the stream!

Coming Soon: Community Nights

See you in the Tower!

Arkheron’s Friday Night Fights is how we play, learn, and grow alongside our community, while testing out exciting new features and fine-tuning the game to its optimal state.

During these playtests, you can expect us to experiment with a variety of limited modes and activities to help us better tailor the experience, understand how you all like to play Arkheron, and help us beat up new additions to the game. We’re learning as you play, so expect quick iterations and changes that feel very work-in-progress.
