Code of Conduct
Updated: May 19, 2026
Arkheron is a competitive game with a global community. At Bonfire Studios, we hope to ensure this game and community are held to a standard that makes Arkheron an experience people can enjoy, compete in, and grow with, while maintaining an environment that is fair and safe.
As the game and players evolve, so will this Code of Conduct - our goal with these standards is to try and make Arkheron a fun and rewarding community for players across the globe. Please review the below carefully. It’s up to all of us to help make Arkheron an enjoyable experience.
Competitive & Fair Play
Competitive integrity is key to keeping Arkheron a fair and fun game for all players. Cheating, tampering with systems, inhibiting normal gameplay, and/or influencing the player ecosystem for certain outcomes will not be tolerated and will be met with severe consequences. We use a mix of complex automated systems and real humans to detect instances of game violation and cheating (up to and including banning player accounts).
Here are examples that will result in sanctions and punishments:
Using third party software to alter or interfere with the game/mechanics, creating/using automations that aren’t original to the game, and/or altering/modding the game in any way that wasn’t created or intended by the developers (things like botting, scripting, etc.).
Interference with competitive play like stream sniping, leaving, match fixing, win trading, feeding/inting, intentionally going AFK, etc.).
Actions or interference with the matchmaking and/or the ranked system such as deranking, hitchhiking, queue dodging, etc.).
Behavior or actions that interfere with and negatively impact the player ecosystem such as griefing, sabotaging, smurfing, etc.).
Punishments can apply if you cheat OR if those you party with cheat. Being ‘smarter than the system’, ‘taking advantage of circumstances’, or ‘exploiting existing mechanics’ is not competing or winning in Arkheron. It’s cheating - don’t do it.

Fun & Respectful Play
We made Arkheron for anyone and everyone that wants to play it, and we want to foster an environment with that goal in mind. If a player perpetuates behavior that our studio wouldn’t tolerate in person, we won’t tolerate it in the community or game.
In-game communication in team voice channels, in text, and posting in our Discord are all considered public spaces that are moderated. We use a combination of complex automated systems and real humans to detect violations of our behavioral code in these spaces.
Here are examples that will result in sanctions and punishments (up to and including banning player accounts):
Language or behavior that includes hate speech, slurs, insults, harassment or bullying
Threatening violence or harm to self or others; posting or sharing content that glorifies or incites violence.
Targeting groups or communities of people through speech or content (e.g. religions, orientations, race, class, ability, etc.)
Spamming, scamming, redundant posting, and/or unnecessary and consistently bothersome communication
Content, harassment, jokes, and/or language that is sexual in nature, including any content that implies sexualization, trafficking, or exploitation of minors (Arkheron is rated ‘T for teen’ and will have players under the age of 18)
Sharing private information about yourself or anyone else (location, career, real name, etc.; also known as ‘PII’, Personally Identifiable Information)
Impersonation of anyone other than yourself. Deception or insinuation that you represent someone else or group that you don’t (e.g. developers, mods, law enforcement, account personnel, etc.)
Promoting or engaging in terrorism, extremism, or illegal activity such as gambling, illegal drug use, phishing, human trafficking, prostitution, doxing, swatting, etc.
Unauthorized use of another company’s intellectual property including software, music, art, and/or copyrighted, trademarked, patented materials or trade secrets.
Disobeying, antagonizing, harassing, or ignoring moderators, player support agents, or developers.
Want to report a player for any of the above? You can do that HERE.
Consequences
Actions that break the Code of Conduct will result in penalties. There are a series of penalties ranging from a warning, to restrictions in gameplay, and ultimately account banning for the above violations. Egregious behavior on one occasion can result in a banned account, while numerous minor infractions can have scaling sanctions or punishments.
Some of these include:
Warnings – cautionary messages from support or mods
Suspensions – time-based suspension of play
Feature Restrictions – temporary limitation or loss of access to specific features, like in-game chat, text, or other communication features
Banning- permanent account suspensions of a single account or a player’s device, resulting in a permanent suspension of any and all accounts on that machine
Actively creating other accounts or attempting to change your existing account to evade sanctions or bans will result in an immediate ban of newly created accounts and a permanent ban on your primary account
Since we do use automated systems and real humans, there is indeed the potential for mistakes.
