Hey South America, 

We want to let you know about a couple of changes to how we’re running South American playtests over the next few weeks.    

We’re taking a short break from hosting South American queues during Friday Night Fights. The pause won't be too long - we're actively doing the ground work to bring FNF back to South America soon.

The reason for this is that we’ve noticed a lot of interest from South America - you actually represent a large number of our signups! However, we’re not seeing many South American players queue up during FNF. After chatting with some of you, it seems that the performance issues we’re currently working through may be affecting South American players disproportionately. Taking a small break gives us some time to make this experience better as we continue to work on optimization. 

In the meantime, here’s how you can keep playing:

• Other regional slots are still open to you - Europe, Asia / Pacific, and North America all run every Friday. Ping and timing won’t be perfect, but the lobbies are live and you’re welcome to join them. 

• Custom Games run all week, any time! Feel free to spin up your own lobby, rope in some friends and play whenever works for you. These can be set up on South American game servers. Access these through the ‘Custom Games’ mode in-game and share your invite code with friends. Check out the #join-custom-games channel on Discord to see what’s happening.
  

• Grab the Custom Games role in the #get-roles channel on Discord. With this role, you can get notified by players setting up their games or use it to rally players into your lobby.

When Friday Night Fights return to South America, we’re also adding Brazilian-Portuguese localization.
