Welcome to the Arkheron Playtest!

Welcome to the Arkheron Playtest!

We’ve recently started opening up Steam Playtest invites for players to come join us for our weekly playtest sessions. If you’re new or returning, welcome (back)! Here’s everything you need to know to play Arkheron.

Heads up: Arkheron is currently in a pre-launch development state, playable through open queues during weekly events (listed below) and any time with custom games. Our plan is to iterate on the game each week, and slowly expand access to a wider group of players over time.

For the next few weeks, we’ll be testing Spires, an arena-style game mode focused on combat, combat, and more combat. As we go and expand our player numbers, expect traditional Ascension (Arkheron’s core, battle-royale style game mode) to return to the queue rotation.

In this phase of development, expect quick changes, regular patches, and sometimes a less-than-polished experience. We’d love your feedback, and appreciate everyone who joins in the fun.

How to Play:

1) Download Arkheron

  • If you’ve been selected, you’ll receive an official email from Steam alerting you.

  • “Arkheron Playtest” should immediately appear in your Steam Library.

    • Depending on the size of your library, you may need to search for it.

    • Having trouble finding Arkheron? Hit us up at support@bonfirestudios.com

  • Download the “Arkeron Playtest” to prepare for the weekly events!

2) Find Your Queue Times

The Arkheron Playtest gathers weekly on Fridays & Saturdays to bring the community together and play the latest changes.

Check out your regional queue times here.

2) Play 24/7 Custom Games

Outside of playtesting times, “Custom Games” is always available for you to play either with fellow playtesters (you can often find a crew for custom games in our Discord) - or you can get some practice in against bot matches.

Play live weekly!
