Friday Night Fights is back— and it’s fast.

It’s all Blitz Ascension this week! 4 teams of 3 start on Floor 3, meaning quick and snappy games. Read on for more details.

Limited Mode: Blitz Ascension

Blitz Ascension is the Friday Night Fights queue this week. Get in, get your win, then do it all over again.

What’s New?

This week, the beginning looks a lot like the final stretch— because 4 teams of 3 will drop on the penultimate floor of the Tower and duke it out for the top spot. 

Details: 

• Starting Floor: 3rd Floor start

• Teams: 4 teams of 3

• Beacon Timing: Extra time ahead of beacons on the drop floor. 

• Additional Loot: Common (green) and Legendary (gold) chests drop 3 times the normal loot. Mythic (purple) chests drop 5 times normal loot.

Heads up: Due to the technical side of how we’re increasing chest loot drops, the buffs are currently game-wide. This means you’ll see 3x and 5x drops in your Custom Games for the duration of this patch as well.

Solo Queue Leaderboard Returns

We’re bringing back the Solo Queue Leaderboard, this time adjusted to Blitz. Strike fast, strike hard— Victorious players will be richly rewarded!

Here’s How Scoring Works:

Queue up solo and rack up points based on your top three games. Points are earned by racking up Minor Eliminations (awarded to players who dealt damage to a downed target) and Major Eliminations (awarded to the player who dealt the highest percentage of damage to a downed target). 

Scoring Breakdown:

• Floor 3: Minor Elim = 1 point; Major Elim = 3 points

• Floor 4: Minor Elim = 2 points; Major Elim = 6 points

Leaver Penalty: Solo players who leave matches will earn a score of zero for that match. This penalty score will not be replaced by a higher-scoring game later; it is automatically tracked as one of your "top" scores for the night.

Pro Tip: Your overall score is based on your highest scoring three individual games. If you play a fourth game and out perform your lowest score, it’ll be replaced automatically. Note, leaver penalties scores will not be replaced.

Arkheron’s Friday Night Fights is how we play, learn, and grow alongside our community, while testing out exciting new features and fine-tuning the game to its optimal state.

During these playtests, you can expect us to experiment with a variety of limited modes and activities to help us better tailor the experience, understand how you all like to play Arkheron, and help us beat up new additions to the game. We’re learning as you play, so expect quick iterations and changes that feel very work-in-progress.
