
Arkheron 0.22.0 Patch Notes
Aug 25, 2026Patch 0.22 will be playable this weekend as part of our limited Tech Test. This build includes several updates based on what we learned from players during Closed Beta and the 0.21 build last month. Thank you again to everyone who played, reported bugs, and shared feedback!

KARRIV
Increased Fire Amulet range at all upgrade levels to 10m (from 8m).
PENELOPE
Added a counter to the Looking Glass’ ‘Flying Shard’ reticle showing how many shards are currently embedded in a target.
The indicator now lights up when a target is marked for ‘Light up the Sky’ detonation.
TSU’BO
Tsu’bo’s ‘Endling’ set bonus now activates at 150 total HP instead of 100, making it available for roughly half of your health pool rather than the final third.
Bonus damage reduced to 50% (from 70%) to account for the wider activation window and lower risk of using the bonus.
DAHLA
Improved the consistency and hit clarity of Dahla’s Dancing Blade animations.
RYNSHI
Rynshi’s ‘Relentless’ set bonus now also activates at 150 total HP instead of 100.
RAVAH
Ravah Crossbow right click visuals updated to better match the damage area.
EDANI
Updated Edani’s textures.
HOLLOW
Hollow’s wall has a visual update!

INTRODUCING RANKED
We’ve added support for future Ranked Ascension tests. Ranked will be available selectively for testing, rather than remain fully available between playtest times.

SPIRES IMPROVEMENTS
Updated the Spires Store UI.
You no longer need to manually sell an equipped item before replacing it. Selecting a replacement now handles the exchange automatically.
Improved clarity around teammate loadouts.
Spires now displays how many Pages you have earned during your current run.
You can now choose to begin a new Spires run from any available floor.
Added an Endless Spire option after completing Floor 10.

Every Spires arena now has its own name.
If a team enters a Spires match without a full roster, the match will now end and the team’s attempts will be refunded.
Added unique ‘Team Found’ audio in Spires.
Added music to the Spires end-of-match stats screen.
Updated music in the Spires Checkpoint Room:
Added a new Tsu’bo theme.
Added a new Grimwold theme.
Updated and polished several existing Eternal themes.
ASCENSION IMPROVEMENTS
Added a new warning system to better communicate when the Abyss is about to collapse.
Improved the visual clarity of Line of Sight.
Enemy footsteps are now more prominent in the audio mix, making nearby opponents easier to identify.
UI & DISPLAY
Removed the confirmation prompt when leaving the Customization screen with an unequipped cosmetic. Make sure to select Equip before leaving the screen!
Canceling matchmaking on controller now requires holding Square on the D-pad (PS5 DualSense) or X on the D-pad (Xbox).
Removed the invite buttons from the Play tab, to improve controller and keyboard navigation. Invites are still available through the Social Menu and footer shortcuts.
Updated the language and button prompts used during account linking.
Killing blow damage numbers are now displayed in red with a dedicated icon.
You can now hover over Transform in the player’s ability display to preview an Eternal Ability before transforming.
You can now right-click the main game mode cards to view additional details before queuing.
Game mode details include the current Eternal Rotation.
The Heads-Up Display now displays MUTED while Push-to-Talk is idle.
Ranked Mode additionally displays its point costs and Rank Division information.

COMMS WHEEL
Added a new Comms Wheel with separate Social, General, and Tactics menus.
These include more situational callouts, including the very important ability to tell your teammates “No.”
Added new Ping sounds for the expanded Comms Wheel.



ART/VISUAL UPDATES
Improved cloth simulation on the Firebrand and Martyr Echo Skins.
Updated the Eternal statues in the Training Room to properly cast baked shadows.
Updated lighting in Harmony.
Updated lighting in Forbidden Archives.
AUDIO
Leodin Hammer ‘Righteous Swing’ and Hollow Amulet ‘Mark the Outcast’ abilities’ impact sounds now only play when a hit is confirmed, reducing misleading hit audio.
Added small impact sounds when projectiles collide with the environment.
Added audio cooldowns to frequently repeated ability sounds.
Improved the audio mix for critical buffs so higher-priority effects stand out more clearly.
Added a new UI sound when Break Protection is gained.
Improved the voice over system, including updates to interruption behavior and cooldowns.
Communication warnings now appear as pop-ups instead of resulting in a silent mute.
MONSTERS
Increased Oracle’s laser beam range to 12m (from 10m).
Oracle now stops tracking its target 5 frames earlier, giving players slightly more time to dodge.
Fixed a locomotion issue that could cause Oracle to briefly twitch or loop incorrectly between patrol and chase states.
SETTINGS
Cleaned up the Graphics Settings menu and added additional descriptions for clarity.
Removed the Audio Enabled sound setting.
Bring to Foreground is now enabled by default.

ACCESSIBILITY
Added the first version of subtitles for in-game voice comms!
CUSTOMIZATION
Updated the camera and lighting in Emote Customization to match the Execute Customization view.
Currency now displays on the Play tab in the top right instead of the link to Discord button.
Added a shortcut to the Collection from the Currency Panel.
You can now go directly from items in the Customization screens to the Collection screen to unlock them.
OTHER
Players can now exit the invulnerable state at the beginning of a match more easily using RB on Xbox One controller, X on PS5 DualSense, or right-click/left-click (interact) on mouse & keyboard.
