This build will be playable on our Experimental Client. Get access to the client here

Play the latest build during Friday Night Fights (check out times for your region here!) or by jumping in to custom games at any time. You can create your own Custom Game through ‘modes’ in the game client or jump into games using codes you find in the community Discord.

CONSUMABLES

  • Health potions will now heal for 150 health over 1.25 seconds. This heal can now be interrupted by damage. The damage threshold is 20 to stop the healing.

Dev Note

We’ve received ongoing feedback that enemy players heal too easily. You can get their health down but they can suddenly pop back to almost full health. This is a small change that will likely have a pretty big impact on gameplay as it changes the dynamic of many fights. We expect that it will also lower the overall TTK (time to kill).

This is relatively experimental, and we’re looking to test this change alongside players. We’ll be paying very close attention to any feedback we get about this and keep iterating based on what feels right.

STORE CHANGES

  • Rejuvenate and Resurrect options in the shrine now require interruptible channels. Rejuvenate requires a 4 second channel. Resurrect requires a 3 second channel.

Dev Note

This change is mostly to address a pattern of gameplay around Shrines, where instant revives were starting to disrupt match flow. The new channel system makes revives more impactful across games, while encouraging more committed, high-impact plays.

For now, visuals and audio are placeholder, but the team will be giving them a good glow-up soon!

EDANI

  • Added an early work-in-progress visual indicator for Edani’s Amulet where a purple circle shows what radius counts for ‘nearby enemies’ to trigger her damage buff. Additionally, there is a golden visual effect on her hands to indicate when her damage is buffed.

IN-CLIENT NEWS

  • When you open Arkheron, you’ll be greeted with the latest news on the main menu so you can stay up-to-date.

QUICK-CAST SETTING

In your client gameplay options, you can now enable ‘quick cast’ to change the behaviour of how modal aim abilities work.

The current version (with quick cast set to off), you press your ability button to enter modal aiming, then press attack to fire the ability.

With quick cast set to ‘on’, if you press and release your ability button you will immediately fire it at the default aim position. You can hold the ability button down to aim, it will still fire when you release it.

The default aim position is the position of the UI reticle for that ability. Currently, we do not show these for crowns or amulets which creates more of a blind fire with quick cast enabled.

You can cancel the modal aim by swapping weapons or dodging.

GAMEPLAY MISC

We’ve changed a few abilities with the ‘movement’ tag so that they have the intended interaction with other crowd control abilities.

For example, previously you couldn’t Root or Slow targets while using Leodin’s Righteous Swing because it was tagged as ‘moving’ which means it could not take new hits. With this adjustment, you can now ‘root’ someone while they’re in mid-air.

Those abilities are as follows:

  • Ravah’s Talonflight Crossbow - Unload

  • Rynshi’s Fury Bracers - Sadistic Throw

  • Leodin’s Eclipse Hammer - Righteous Swing

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue where chained visual effects would not fully dissolve when unlocking portals, doors and teleporters.

  • Fixed an issue with line breaks when using the Korean locale.

  • Fixed a bug where Irenna’s Sword “Caretaker” was visually broken, and an issue where it could be seen briefly floating in the air when entering Sprint.

  • Fixed issues with incorrect controller input glyphs in various menus.

  • Fixed an issue where going in and out of Sprint while using Crossbow caused it to appear and collapse without the transition animation.

  • Fixed an issue where the ending animation of Dahla’s Vanish Crown and the idle animation could appear jittery.

  • Fixed a spooky bug where if you walked away from a corpse until it was out of sight, then returned to look at it, it would now be standing upright.
