Arkheron 0.19e Patch Notes

Note: We’ve changed our patch naming convention. From now on, you’ll see the number which reflects the patch version we’re on each month, and the letter which reflects the public sequence of patches.

This build will be playable on our Experimental Client. Get access to the client here


Play the latest build during Friday Night Fights (check out times for your region here!) or by jumping in to custom games at any time. You can create your own Custom Game through ‘modes’ in the game client or jump into games using codes you find in the community Discord.

[NEW] DESTROYER CROWN

The Destroyer Crown spawns on Floor 2 shortly after the match begins, in a mythic chest. Players will be able to see a pink circle on the initial spawn point selection map that indicates the general region of Floor 2 where the Destroyer Crown will spawn. 

  • [Active - Doppelganger] Summon a doppelganger and become Invisible. Taking an action causes the doppelganger to disappear. 

  • [Passive] This item is a Destroyer Relic. While carrying, players automatically unlock the respective set Bonus for Each Eternal Relic that they carry - culminating in a possible 3 set bonuses' 

CUSTOM GAMES

  • When selecting a Floor 2 or 3 start for a custom match, one extra minute of looting time will automatically be added to the starting drop floor. 

With the feedback we’ve gathered from earlier Friday Night Fights tests, we’ve decided to make some changes to bring a more polished experience to custom games. We’ve adjusted beacon timing, depending on which floor you choose to start on. This aims to allow players to have a little more time to workshop their builds and hunt down that final piece of loot before the fights begin.

If you choose to start on Floor One, expect Ascension mode to remain unchanged.

EMPOWERED

  • Major eliminations are now 2 (down from 2.5)

  • Minor eliminations have been added at 1.5

  • Decay is now 10 (down from 12)

We're currently experimenting with the way Empowered works in game to make sure it fulfills its purpose as a comeback mechanic while avoiding becoming a snowball effect for already successful teams. We've added minor eliminations to help improve when the buff activates and keep the system event-based. We look forward to seeing how this plays out and will continue making tweaks based on what we find. Let us know what you think.

BUG FIXES

  • Fixed issue where incorrect skins/models were being displayed on the main menu

  • Fixed missing Hollow’s Darkling Staff - Wall sound effects during combat

  • Improved Hollow’s Sneklan - Gloomy Trap visual effects

  • Improved friend list sorting functionality
